High stakes in influencing appointments to the judiciary, the independent electoral and boundaries commission and other high profile offices is at the heart of the wrangles dogging parliament's justice and legal affairs committee. The constitution implementation commission is raising the alarm that the wrangling could greatly undermine parliament's ability to effectively execute its mandate in implementation of the new constitution.
